Rich Damek is a photographer and filmmaker based out of Laguna Beach, CA. His photography work covers a wide range of subjects from Landscapes, Wildlife, Underwater, Portraits and the Travel Adventure content he shares every day on Instagram.
Rich has been traveling around the globe since 2019, capturing the beauty of our planet and telling his as well as local stories within the landscapes he explores.
With an audience of 200,000+ people on social media, he uses his influence for positive impact storytelling as well as making a difference helping the planet.
Working in conjunction with the American Cetacean Society in Orange County, CA as well as the Pacific Marine Mammal Care in Laguna Beach, Rich has been an active member of the community trying to make a positive impact in every way possible.
Whether educating children voluntarily in the classroom or assisting on sea lion surgeries and rescues, these experiences have been a fundamental piece of the puzzle in regards to respectfully photographing many animals both below and above the water.
He is currently working projects which include an extensive autobiography on YouTube, curating creative marketing packages for brands internationally, exploring unique locations around the world, telling forgotten stories from locals and pursuing his passion photographing landscapes as well as the animals in them with the intent to create awareness for conservation.
